Songs of Praise: Gospel Choir of the Year 2017!
Drawing 2017 to an epic finish, we were incredibly proud to be named as finalists in this year's Gospel Choir of the Year Competition! The show aired on BBC1's Songs of Praise across two weekends, where we shared performances of two of our favourite songs alongside our fellow finalist choirs. To be named amongst four other wonderful acts as one of the top five amateur gospel choirs in the country was a huge honour for us and we loved every minute of the experience!
We of course have always believed that everyone can, and should, sing, and to be able to show the nation how true that really is, on such a huge platform, was such a huge moment for us.
Congratulations to our fellow finalist choirs: Oxford Gospel Choir, LCCM Choir, Royal Voices and the winners of the night - Big Sing!
A huge thanks and well done to our members who took part! We're unbelievably proud of you all.
